Spiritual Formation

All students attend a spiritual formation class. For the 2025-26 School year, featured speakers help students learn how to research the Scriptures. M.A.D.E. is an acronym in which each letter represents a week in the month with a focus.

Week 1: Missions

      Week 2: Apologetics

      Week 3: Discipleship

     Week 4: Evangelism

Environment

This school's focus is a discipleship program. We help grow and educate students in their faith.  We identify gifted students academically through Progress Monitoring (MAP) (IXL) and encourage them to begin college classes as early as the 9th grade.

Christian Curriculum

Curriculum has a focus on a Biblical World View. English, Math, Science and History are taught by exceptional KDE state certified teachers each exhibiting mastery of content and delivery in their subject areas.

Examples of curriculum used at WCA:

Bob Jones University  Press, Glencoe, MasterBooks, Ramsey Solutions.

To be honest, I wasn't originally for the school, but I would be lying to you if I didn't tell you that I haven't severely appreciated it. This school has seriously impacted my spiritual walk. This school has helped me realize that God has called me to be a pastor. This school has given me the ability to seek this role. It has also given me the ability to help those around me. This school has allowed me to seek out the role of the guy in charge of the live videos. This school has also helped me reach higher grades. I was an average B student, but this school has helped me become a straight-A student. I have also been able to take multiple dual enrollment classes, such as Financial Literacy and Communications. This school has been a huge blessing in my life, and I have no regrets about attending here.

I attended a normal public school. I decided against joining originally because it could take my chance to teach others about Christ. I believed I wouldn't be influenced, but I could impact others. That year, I was proven wrong. That first bit of the year was fine until the last semester, and then it went downhill greatly. I realized I was becoming friends with the wrong crowd. I ended up ditching that group, and I was left alone and questioning my reality. Through that tough time, God used the school to reach me. It was a field trip to Ohio, and I was invited to join them because my brother attended. The whole time I was there, I felt God's presence; he grabbed a hold of me and set me straight back on track. Immediately after that year, I started attending this school! He’s been using this school to help reach believers and unbelievers. I pray that he continues to do his will through us.

I began my freshman year of public school, but it rapidly took a toll on my mental health. My friend told me about this school and asked my parents whether I could switch. They agreed, and now I'm getting a fine Christian education. Any areas that I have struggled with drew extra attention from my teachers. I moved from a C-D student to getting straight A's, thanks to the small class sizes.
