Mission Statement:
At Waco Christian Academy our mission is to develop Christlike character through the spiritual transformation of the Holy Spirit in each student, and to increase in academic knowledge with a biblical worldview to prepare students to defend their faith and serve Christ boldly.
Beliefs
Waco Christian Academy strives to provide students within Madison, Estill and
surrounding counties access to a Christian based education that is affordable for all
families and maintains high academic standards. WCA will disciple students in their
walk of faith through spiritual formation and prepare them academically through college
and career preparatory classes with a Christian worldview. Graduates will be
passionate about sharing their personal relationship with Christ to others and will be
prepared to become the next generation of Christian leaders, missionaries, and lay-
leaders in their communities and throughout the world.

Celebrating Student Achievement and God's Faithfulness
Several WCA students were recognized through Youth Salute, a regional program honoring outstanding high school juniors for academic achievement, leadership, and service. This year's honorees included Mason Dennis, Julie Dennis, Kaydence Powell, Dustin Robertson, and Sean Dick. Students and families attended the regional celebration at Transylvania University alongside representatives from schools across Central Kentucky. In addition, Dustin received a Class 101 Scholarship Award to assist with college and scholarship preparation. In the coming months, these students will be featured through Holifield Photography's Academic Recognition Program, with student banners scheduled to be displayed at Dillard's in Fayette Mall.
WCA also celebrated the selection of Gracie to attend the Governor's School for Entrepreneurs (GSE), one of Kentucky's premier summer programs for young innovators and leaders. Her selection reflects the creativity, initiative, and leadership we seek to develop in all of our students.
As our school continues to grow, many of our students are taking dual credit courses, earning college credit while still in high school and preparing for future educational and career opportunities. We are also encouraged by the progress made toward accreditation and anticipate reaching an important milestone in the coming weeks that will further strengthen opportunities available to our students and graduates.

Building a Foundation for the Future
Founded during the 2023–2024 school year, Waco Christian Academy was established with a clear mission: to provide a Christ-centered education that promotes both academic excellence and spiritual growth.
As our school continues to grow, many of our students are taking dual credit courses, earning college credit while still in high school and preparing for future educational and career opportunities. We are also encouraged by the progress made toward accreditation and anticipate reaching an important milestone in July 2026 that will further strengthen opportunities available to our students and graduates.
While still a young school, WCA remains committed to building a strong foundation for the future—one that equips students to succeed academically, grow spiritually, and impact their communities for Christ.
